The cafe takes pride in its unique variety of matcha-infused treats, like the stunningly presented Matcha Zenzai and the seasonal Strawberry Zenzai, both of which provide a rich tapestry of flavors that dance on the palate. For some good dessert. Something special. Taste special. Not everyone may like it but if you are adventurous can try it out. I personally find it delicious

Matcha zenzai and seasonal strawberry zenzai were simply works of art - beautifully presented and super tasty. Rich and full-bodied matcha flavor, strawberries so sweet they tasted more like wild strawberries than standard ones, fragrant and crunchy osenbei. And mochi, of course! Slightly crunchy on the outside, deliciously warm and chewy inside. Eating it all outside next to a warm hibachi was a great way to experience small wonders of winter Japan. Highly recommend!

Arima Bouten Bécassine was a lovely spot to relax for a bit after taking a dip at one of the local onsen. The shop is marketed throughout town and has comfortable outdoor seating with umbrella shades. You order by going up to the counter and pickup your desserts and drinks once they're ready to go. Fortunately, an English menu is available. We all tried a few options that also happened to be vegan friendly including their Matcha Arima Cider and Tempura Mitarashi, flaky deep-fried mochi that is popular in Arima. Everything came out pretty tasty I'll say and the presentation was nice too. They allowed us to stick around for as long as we liked since it wasn't busy when we went. If you're looking for a spot to chill, then definitely consider stopping by for a snack and a view.
